Hi Neighbors!
Welcome to the 4th edition of the Front Porch Project. As the days go by, it seems that we are adjusting to staying at home, and are finding ways to enjoy each day. I love the way families with young children and/or pets embraced the reality of the moment in their videos. I'll continue to ask if you have something that symbolizes this COVID moment so that we can photograph it.
Thanks to your donations last week, we have $425 dollars and 3 bags of groceries for the Food Bank of NC. I'd also like to share a message from Ken Slagle, a regular volunteer with the Food Bank. Unfortunately, they are unable to go now since they've instituted new age restrictions (18-60) as a result of COVID-19.
If you can meet the age requirements and can volunteer, here is a link Volunteer Opportunities at the Food Bank
Thank you for sharing these front yard moments with me and our neighborhood. I plan to photograph 9 families per week for as long as the Stay at home order is in place, so if you haven't reached out to me, please do.
